Good afternoon EIBA Correspondent,
I am pleased to confirm that we now have concluded consultations with the Department of Culture, Media and Sport on our Club Guidance and as a result able to issue version 4, for you to update your plans or aide your planning for opening in the future.
The updates from version 3, issued on 20th July, are highlighted in yellow to assist your review. The main change is that you are now able to have more than 30 people in the club, with no restrictions on people from different households on a rink, but in doing this you must ensure that the appropriate social distancing and hygiene procedures are maintained.
If your club uses Local Authority premises our Development Manager, Steve Rodwell, will contact you early next week to discuss the guidance in relation to the local authority / leisure operator. If you wish to contact him prior to this please send him an email at
Finally, we have also produced an overview poster, attached, on how Indoor Bowls can return from 25th July 2020 for you to circulate to members and or use in the local community.
If you have any queries or need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me or the office.
Yours sincerely
Peter Thompson
